One of my favorite stops is for a hearty lobster roll and a cold beer at The Sesuit Harbor Cafe. This classic clam shack overlooks the Northside Marina.
You can opt for several affordable lodging options at Sesuit Harbor House.
Choose to stay within the historic Main Inn or the rooms overlooking the garden and pool. The suites with full kitchens have the added benefit of additional privacy and space.
All of the rooms feature lovely coastal decor.

If that’s your idea of a perfect Cape Cod getaway, you’ll want to take a look at Chatham Tides.
You’ll find this Cape Cod inn in South Chatham between Harwichport and downtown Chatham. Quaint accommodations provide access to a pristine, uncrowded beach with a view across Nantucket Sound to the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge.
Chatham Tides is an excellent choice if you and your special someone want to enjoy a quintessential Cape Cod beach vacation without the crowds.
This little beach is only open to hotel guests.
You might opt for an economic townhouse, suite, or efficiency at this classic beachfront hotel, clad in gray shingles.
Although they don’t serve breakfast at Chatham Tides, even the smallest of rooms has a kitchen or kitchenette and an outdoor sundeck on which to enjoy a sunny start to the day.

I recommend stocking up on a few goodies from Marion’s Pie Shop or Chatham Village Cafe and Bakery the night before.

The inn itself is a repurposed Abbey. It’s complete with gorgeous stained glass and gothic arches.

In the “Tuesday” room where I stayed, light streams through the enormous stained glass round.
In fact, you can see the window right on the front of the building. This creates an incredibly dramatic effect in the room!
